Ludlow Castle Welcomes School Visits!
Ludlow and the Castle provide children with a full and interesting day. The town has over 500 listed buildings and at the heart is Ludlow Castle.
The Castle was built as a Norman Fortress, grew into a Royal residence and then a seat of parliament, is was lived in for 600 years and during that time there were many alterations – better ways were found to defend the castle, to improve the living conditions and the castle grew to accommodate all these changes.
