April to September 10am - 5pm October to March 10am - 4pm

Come and enjoy English food, cakes, scones, ice creams & a fine selection of hot and cold drinks, wines, beers and cider in the glazed Courtyard, Pantry, Study or Garden Terrace.

Our Aim is to provide the highest standard of traditional English food using the finest seasonal produce, sourced locally whenever possible. View the Tea Room menu to see what we currently have available.

We provide take out picnic bags for your visit to Ludlow Castle, this includes a choice of sandwich, a choice of cake, Tyrells crisps, choice of tea, coffee, or water for £5.95 per person. Place your order at the tea room on your arrival and collect during your visit to enjoy in the castle grounds.

Castle Tea Room is child friendly with a welcoming and enthusiastic team, serving something for everyone. Loose-leaf teas, cafetiere coffees, fresh juices and quality wines are among the drinks offered. A range of freshly prepared soups, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads and ploughmans are available all day. Cream Teas are served all day. Afternoon Tea served from 2pm.
