SOLD OUT!
Normal admission charges apply, plus £5 for each child visiting Father Christmas and receiving a gift.
Please note: we have had several bookings where only admission has been purchased or only Father Christmas visits have been booked. Please make sure both admission and visits to Father Christmas are booked to ensure your booking is complete. The total number of tickets shown on your booking will include the Father Christmas experience (and family tickets are shown as 4) so please ignore this figure as it is not a reflection of how many people are booking.
Father Christmas will be visiting us in December to meet children in his grotto and find out if they’ve been naughty or nice! The children will have time to chat about their interests and have their photo taken with Father Christmas! He will be accompanied by his elves and will have an age-appropriate gift for each child.
Robins are delivering Christmas cards this year. Join the trail to discover which card has gone missing.
Chapter 66 will be providing mulled wine, hot chocolate, mince pies and sweet treats outside as well as in the restaurant-café.
So wrap up warm and come and join us for a magical experience in historic surroundings.
Book your personalised time with Father Christmas via our website. Normal admission charges apply, plus £5 for each child visiting Father Christmas and receiving a gift. Family members are welcome to join the child(ren) in Mortimer’s Tower, but only children with a ticket will receive a gift.
Groups with more than 3 children should book two adjacent time slots to give the children enough time with Father Christmas. Please book using the same name so we can see that you want to go into the grotto as one group.
Please note that, although Father Christmas is snug in his tower, the castle is a ruin so there is nowhere to wait under cover. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
Father Christmas will be on the ground floor of Mortimer’s Tower. For accessibility information, please call the office on 01584 874465
Cancellation Policy: All tickets are valid on the date and time specified only. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your visit, you must inform us at least 7 days prior to the time of your visit. The ticket price for cancellations made before this time will be refunded. After this time, we may be able to reschedule your visit subject to availability, but no refund will be available. If you fail to arrive for your visit you will not be eligible for a refund if you have not notified us that you are not able to attend. We reserve the right to cancel events and to close the castle at any time (in case of bad weather or any other reason). In this situation you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price. We shall not be liable to any visitor for any loss or damage which arises out of or in connection with or as a consequence of the cancellation of any service provided.
