We’re excited to welcome you all to Ludlow Castle for the very special Within the Walls concerts, where we’ll be hosting Rag n Bone Man, the Kaiser Chiefs, Nile Rodgers & Chic and Bastille for these incredible nights of live music!
To ensure you have a fantastic experience, here’s everything you need to know…
Getting to Ludlow and Where to Park
Car parking is available at Ludlow Rugby Club The, Linney, Ludlow SY8 1EE, priced at £5 per vehicle. Please plan your journey in advance, as the route from the rugby club to the castle includes a steep incline. Kindly note that all cars must vacate the car park overnight to avoid fines and towing. Ludlow is a small and picturesque market town, so expect some congestion. Use public transport or consider walking to the event if possible. Ludlow Train Station is located 0.5 miles from the castle, and National Express coaches provide transportation to nearby towns.
Blue Badge Parking
Reserved parking for blue badge holders is available at Castle Street Car Park. Please email accessbookings@futuresoundgroup.com to apply for this parking, ensuring you have both your blue badge and event ticket for entry. The Blue Badge Car Park opens at specific times during the event days and cannot accommodate overnight parking.
Tickets and Entry
Remember to bring your tickets with you. Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
For ticket collections, the box office is located just outside the castle entrance, adjacent to ‘The Snug,’ and will be open from 4:30pm to 9:00pm.

General ticket holders have two entrances to choose from: the main entrance at the castle gates and the second entrance on Castle Walk, located between the rugby club and the main entrance. Premium/access ticket holders should use the main entrance. Please anticipate queues for entry due to the uniqueness of the venue, and we appreciate your patience as we aim to get everyone in quickly and safely.
Premium Tickets
Premium ticket holders have a priority entry lane at the main gate. Upon entry, you will receive a wristband that grants access to the VIP area in the inner bailey. Please note that the VIP section does not offer a view of the stage, so you’ll need to return to the main area to enjoy the show.
Food and Drink at the Concerts
We will have a range of food and drink pop-ups on site for you to enjoy. Plan ahead as there are no cash points inside the venue and re-admittance is not permitted. Outside food and drink (except for medicinal purposes) are not allowed, but free drinking water will be available at the bars. You may bring one empty reusable water bottle (no glass or metal) inside.
Accessibility
Ludlow Castle is an outdoor greenfield site, and you may need to navigate grassy terrain to access viewing platforms and other areas. Prepare for potential muddy conditions in case of rain. If you require access to the accessible viewing platform, collect an AVP wristband from the box office at the main castle entrance.
Safety and Prohibited Items
To ensure a safe environment, mandatory bag searches will be conducted, and prohibited items include glass, alcohol, large cameras, and recording equipment. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in Ludlow Castle. For a complete list of prohibited items, please refer to our website.
Bags
For efficient processing, we encourage attendees to avoid bringing bags if possible. Backpacks and bags larger than A4 size will not be allowed. Unfortunately, there are no cloakroom facilities at the castle.
Cameras and Recording Equipment
Please refrain from bringing cameras, tape recorders, drones, or remote-control devices, as they are not permitted within the venue. Confiscated equipment cannot be stored, and entry may be refused. By entering the venue, you consent to photography, filming, and recording arranged by the organizer.
Viewing
This is a standing event, so picnic blankets, chairs, portable furniture, and inflatables are not permitted and will be confiscated at the gates.
Weather
The event is open air and will proceed regardless of the weather. Please dress appropriately for expected conditions but note that umbrellas are not allowed within the venue.
First Aid
A designated First Aid area will be clearly signposted on-site for any medical assistance you may require.
