Get ready to embark on an enchanting journey for the senses in Ludlow between 24th and 26th November. Ludlow Castle is hosting a series of special evening events in partnership with Ludlow Food Festival, as part of the wider Ludlow Winter Festival celebrations. Experience the magic of the season with a light trail in the dramatic castle ruins followed by festive feasting, echoing the centuries-old legacy of Ludlow Castle as a place of gathering and banqueting.
As night falls, witness the castle ruins come alive with a spectacular light show, transforming the ancient stones in an immersive experience to remember. The melodies of local singers and groups/bands such as Macy O, Bella Acapella, Ludlow Male Voice Choir, and Revival will fill the air throughout the three nights.
Feast Like Royalty
The Castle has long been a place of feasting and celebration, so this year’s Winter festival is particularly exciting as we have partnered with Ludlow Food Festival to indulge your taste buds in a variety of their favourite producers and vendors. Hobsons Brewery will keep you refreshed with their award-winning ales and warm mulled wines, while Nixon Farms will tempt you with their home-reared pedigree beef and pork burgers. For pizza enthusiasts, Ludlow’s Pizza Girls will be serving their wood-fired pizzas and calzones. Le Flip Creperie will be here with their delicious range of crepes and for the coffee lovers and drivers amongst you, Drink Up Coffee will also be here with their converted camper coffee van.
